Hi all!,
I am new to the forum. Been lurking here for a few weeks since I bought a 2007 GC2300 with 370 hours on it with a front mount blower, belly mower and a rear mount tiller and its always been stored indoors. Beautiful shape and the previous owner was OCD with it. I have since washed and waxed it (when its -36 C up here, what else is there to do?) and put a total of 15 minutes on it so far. I have a water temp and voltage gauge I want to put on it when I get a moment. There is no slop in the steering and it still has the original battery. The guy just did a complete service on it this spring as well (diffs, hydro, etc). Anyways, just stopped by to say hi and look for guidance on how to mount 2 gauges in the dash. I see a hole for 1 though.

Thanks!

Forgot to mention I ordered a Farm King FEL painted in Massey colours that should be here in about 5 weeks and a quick hitch. The quick hitches are amazing for moving trailers around.

At -36 if your not in a garage that is warmer you may want to pick up a battery tender and a block heater. Yowsa thats cold!

Great machine, and a good year! One of the last of the 2300 models, soon to be replaced with newer 2400 versions... They got a lot of the bugs out of the 2300s by the 2007 model year. You might want to read the threads here about the ground cable, however, if yours hasn't had that changed yet. The cables were a bit too short on the 2300s and would often break.

I love mine! Still have original battery, now going on 750 hrs. Only one major problem so far, and that was a factory defect, IMO... unfortunately too late for warranty coverage. I did install a temp gauge in that center hole there.

Also some threads about re-locating the "Mickey Mouse" lights on the ROPs. They're very easy to bust off, and M-F parts are expensive (but Kubota lights will fit and are less money!).

Being from Canada, I'll bet he's talking about -36 Centigrade/Celsius (about -27F)... but still darned cold in any case! Here in NH, we're at -10F this AM, but hit -12F yesterday....
