Hi, just signed up for tractor by net forum. Have an Oliver 1600 and want to understand more about what it's capabilities are. Will spend time looking at old post and pictures for now. Thanks for the good info here.

I've got a neighbor down the road that has at least 20 old Olivers. Has at least 4 old FWA 2250s (think that's the right number) Most of his are fully restored and useable. He's got a SWEET little 550. I grew up with a 77. Used it with a 2 row mounted corn picker and to bale hay with an oliver small square twine baler. One of the last, if not THE last Oliver dealers was in the town I grew up in. Shepard Equipment Co., in Ridgeway, Missouri.
