Tractor
RK55h
My name is Dusty from Greensboro area North Carolina. Just bough an RK55h open station. I sold my motorcycle to buy it trading one hobby for another. So far I just use it for anything I can find a use for it.

Welcome to TBN. If you are new to tractors make you a list of things you would like to do. Go to youtube and search for videos on that topic. Can be some good information there. Also can be videos of things not to do. Be careful.

Hi, Dusty. Welcome to TBN. You can get just as wet running your tractor in the rain as riding your bike but the drops don't sting as hard.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Enjoy the site.

I read your other thread on the good service you received from your dealership (good stuff )... now I'd recommend that you check/confirm all of your fluid levels (oil and hydraulic), torque all of your wheel nuts to the spec in the Owner Manual and tighten/snug any nut/bolt that you can see, grease all of the grease nipples (zerks) and, if it moves but doesn't have a nipple; spray it with a 'lanolin' based lubricant.

Congrats, Welcome Tractors are sure a lot safer. I'm sure you'll find plenty of things todo with it.

Do you have any attachments?

Thanks for the welcomes. I have greased all the zerks once and will every 10 hours, I check the fluids, air filter and diesel water separator each time I get on. I have not checked all the bolts yet but we are building a new house and will check them when I get my tools there. I did find a bird's nest on top of the engine one time though. And yes I will not miss being tattooed by the rain on a motorcycle.
So far I have a boxblade I got with the tractor, a subsoiler and an EA rear scrape blade.
