new to tractors. Having a little trouble

Hi guys
I am very new to tractors. I have been renting a 5093 jd for my snow removal company this year to find out which direction I want to go before purchasing.
I do about 250 small drives and streets in condo associations.
I have a few questions about tractor transmissions. I am having troubles finding a gear I like for moving in and out of drives. I am finding it hard to get in a range where I can be comfortable getting close to the doors with the blade, without going so slow. I am used to a toolcat where I am going twice the speed and twice as comfortable. I thought with experience this would improve.
I don稚 have the infinite variable control kit installed but I don稚 know if the quicker response to the reverser will help? I need to go much quicker in and out of the drive with the ability to slow down quick and be precise up at the garage door. This was real easy with the hydro transmission in the toolcat.
I notice in the tractor literature you have to move all the way up to the 6000 series to get clutches transmissions which seems strange since all the competitors seem to have clutch less in all of their smaller series tractors as well. But I don稚 know if this would even help my cause?
If anyone could help me out, I would really appreciate it.

I'm no super expert but a few questions? What do you want to use for snow removal? A blade, a push snowblower, or a pull blower? (or a combo)?

You can get the 4000 series with up to 66hp which would run a very large blower and push/pull a good size blade rear or boom mounted. The hydro's in them are smooth as silk and allow extremely fine control of anything you throw on it. You might want to try a 4000 series. A 5093 seems like overkill unless you are trying to fly on the roads while plowing or the roads are a lot bigger than I can picture. I can't picture getting close to a garage door quickly without feathering the clutch on a std.

If you've never driven an E-hydro (or even the mechanical ones Deere has) they are great. I hardly ever use my brakes at all except for holding on a slope, or if I want to use the independent brakes for skid steering on slippery surfaces.

You can also set the maximum speed, cruise control, etc. They are full of features.

Without knowing much about what attachments you are using to move snow, I'd suggest too that you need to go to the hydro tranny. Deeres E-hydro can't be beat.
Take your foot off the pedal, and you stop (if that is what is programmed into the E-hydro).

I remember driving an E-hydro and being used to my original hydro in the Deere 4300, and the new one didn't stop "right now". It slowed to a stop. I about drove it through the end of the garage.

I will be useing a snow blade by horst it will be frame mounted on a horst euro carrier dirctly to the frame. No loader.

An E-hydro will work fine for pushing snow. Since you probably get a ton more snow than we see here in the states, go big, go big as you dare! Run a snow blower and the rear blade!
