Since I have a Cold this weekend, I decided to spend a little time and spec out the tractors I intend to build when I get my new welder (/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif yeah, right). Here are the specifications (see the attachments for drawings):

Check out a Company called Holder - they have something similar to what you are suggesting - i think they are very expensive

I like the design, but no dimensions. I personally would use a more powerful engine. A larger Duetz 35hp, would be great.

I'll take one...sign me up for a pre-order! Where'd that number come from, just out of curiosity? Isn't the B&S diesel engine about $3500 itself?

Loading the dump bed?

Hey Marrt:

Just a thought here...the dump bed is a great idea, but is there any magic you can think of that would let you load the dump bed? The problem (if you could really call it a "problem", which I'm not sure you can) is that the loader is on one end, but the dump bed is on the other. Would be really nice to figure a way to load the dump bed with the loader while they're both on the same machine.

Or maybe the answer is to just buy two of them, eh?

Piece a cake, and Marrt no doubt already has it in his detail specs. The dump bed is a rolloff container, with a hydraulic hook to pick up & drop. You can drop it, fill it with the bucket, then pick it back up to transport and dump. Of course there will be any number of different rolloffs, as well: tanks, implement pallets, generators, compressors, big screen TVs, etc.
