New top link Hydralink

Looks an interesting "low tech" solution to an otherwise complex and pricey modification. What say fellas (*any* gals yet?), look a reasonable alternative?

Only detractor I can see compared to a hydraulic ram would be the need to reach back and twiddle the adjustment knob rather than use a lever from the operating position. Not that big a deal in the big picture I wouldn't think, but then I've used neither system at this point.

The web site mentions "in cab" adjustment, but no details on that that I can find. Can't view the video at present. May show that option there.

None of y'all probably have any opinions on anything, but jump on in ;' >

I only watched the later video...but they failed to actually show any real adjustment....I'd loke to see it set to the minimum and the maximum and be demonstrated using it set to those extremes...

IMO the video is lacking any real demonstration...

Seems it is a replacement item for the screw-type standard top link.
It isn't a replacement or substitute for a hydraulic top link (as the name tries to imply).
Open a valve, and the length of the top arm can be changed easily. Close the valve and it stays generally at that position, giving and taking with a load.
May be ok if one can reach the valve from the tractor seat (implied in the video).
The cost is comparable (apparently) to a hydraulic top link, but about three times the cost of the screw-type link it replaces.

Users are missing, so far. :)

Agree that a new thread wasn't called for. Maybe the admins will combine it with the one started by the advertiser.

''There is a whole thread started by the seller...Why start a new thread''
I wasn't aware or there presently wasn't the other thread. I found the info from a ford 1700 thread, and thought people would be seeing it if they didn't stumble upon the ford thread..
I dint see any way I could close it other than to direct people to this

My apologies , but at least there is exposure for the product. Thanks

Seems like a good idea at the wrong price.
