New toys to me

The wife let me open my wallet this week. Down the street is a guy who is / was a regional rep for Victor. so he makes these really nice welding carts and sells victor sets. I went to get an oxy set from him, and one of his carts. While there, I told him what I had had been given for christmas (a Lincoln 140c). He said he had a guy looking for a 140 and wondered if I was interested in trading up. in the end it would have been cheaper if my wife had bought what I had asked for to begin with, but unbeknownst to here I now have a 180c for a minor uptick in costs. And please don't tell her.

No. Not even a bad welder. I get good lessens, then get home and can't seem to re-create the welds I did. Got a lot to learn.

The cart is pretty killer. $150 which is high but locally built. The complaint I have is no handle, for me because I have to drag it on gravel it needs one. My new welding project I guess.
