JED- your number crunching is correct, but the overall payoff on JD and Kubota includes the interst you would be paying through the term of the loan, so, the total payoff you calculated would include the interest.
Regarding the woods frame mount, the original NH quote was for their 6000 series backhoe. I didin't think I would need a larger backhoe for the amount of work I needed, especially for the extra $2000.00 (5000.00 for the 6000, and 7000.00 for the larger backhoe. The payments per month with the lareger backhoe jumped from $289.00 per month to $323.00. Thats why I rechecked with the other dealers.
The woods site does show frame mount for the TC29DA for the smaller unit, but does not seem to include the TC30.
At least that is what the dealer told me. I don't think it was a bait and switch situation from the dealer, he just didn't know.
