New Tractor - Items fixed in first 3 years??

So what does this say about the Kubota BX 2200 ?? Did Kubota rush this tractor to the market before complete testing and R&D? Yea the dealer and Kubota fixed everything but it was sure a pain not to mention not having the tractor during grass cutting season for a week or so at a time. I am so glad I asked about free pick up and delivery when I was looking to buy. This could have cost me a few $$ for the 4 times they came to get the BX. Is the 2nd generation of BX any better? gee I hope so. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Interesting post. I am surprized no one has stated these items so far...

Shed wall - 50 dollars
Garage Door - 100 dollars
Front end of pickup truck - priceless

In reality, loose hydrolic fitting and those turnbuckle swaybars.
Less than 100 dollars. The swaybars on the B7800's were an item well documented. So I have been aware and wary of them everytime I operate the tractor.

So far (2nd year) I haven't had any problems with my JD 4115. I did have one of the BH stabilizer cylinders replaced on warranty. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

April will be 2 years for my JD 4410. 65 hours. My dealer is 12 miles away he has replaced a switch for the cruise control at 10 hours. I had him do the 50 hour service. I mow 4 acres of lawn during the summer, the past years have been wet so not much mowing was done. I made roads through my 20 acres for ATV with the MX-5 rotary and I have "plowed" deer plots ,3 @ 1/2 acre with the Frontier 60 inch Rotto tiller. During the winter I move snow with the FEL. My drivway is too small to plow. I have the PHD no use on it so far. I bought a rake from Tractor Supply. The MX5 has had the hardest use I have cut some 3 -4 inch Poplars and pine trees with it and a fair amount of slate. The second time I used it I sent my brother to the ER for stitches above his eye, a close one. Now we both wear full face shields and ear protection. And he keeps far away from the tractor. The FEL is dangerous when it pushes little saplings down. They whip down fast. The back hoe has about 5 hours . I think I have been very very lucky in the woods with the FEL hoses, some close ones but no breakage yet. I have never neede to use the block heater yet to start. Zero degrees has been the coldest. Tractor is in a closed garage, no wind.
