Jon

congrats on the new 20S. it's a beauty. does that extra 2hp make a difference in high range ? also, does the 20S have a mid range or the same high/low as the old 20 ?

nice job on the "kioti den".

enjoy that new machine.

Happy Holidays

Jim

Jim, I see you have the same issues with the 20HST as I do. it has two speeds, too slow and too weak. I cannot get up my driveway in high gear and it takes forever to get anywhere in low range. A mid range would be nice on the 20hst. I had a Chinese 24 horse gear tractor prior to the 20HST and that seemed to have more power since there were 10 speeds to choose from. Wouldn't go back though since it did not have two stage clutch and the backhoe hung on the 3pt hitch. Brute of a machine though, started all winter every winter.

I have the exact tractor as you and so far I love it. I have a 54" puma snowblower and have been playing with it the last couple of days as we had our first snowfalls here in canada. The snow I was blowing was up over the top of blower and the tractor had no trouble blowing it, never slowed the idle of the tractor at all. I have the agriculture tires on it and was actually in my back field trying to get it stuck and could not, seems to be very good in the snow. Got it stuck once in some mud, but with the differential lock got out of it with ease. I really like the blade you have on yours, is it run by hydraulics or electric ? Have fun with your new tractor.

Just wondering if you had any pictures?

Nice setup. I agree about trying to keep the machine inside. When I build my house I put in garage space like yours with a ck20 in mind. At the last minute up graded to a ck30, it still was gonna fit, but when I added the sun shade... no can fit now. :-( i will think my 2010 resolution will be to build a shelter for my kioti :)

congrats on again on nice machine and home for it.

aloha

Thanks everybody. Jody, I'm in St. Phillip's, about 15 minutes from St. John's. Joe, were are you? Would a different type of door work, such as a double barn door instead of an overhead door?

PaPaGus, I posted a thread with pictures of the new blade last year:

Jim, I cannot tell the difference (if any) with the extra PTO hp. I heard that number only by chance, and have not confirmed it with any Kioti spec. The thing blows snow, that's for sure.

Cheers,

Jon

Hi Jon, I am on Maui..Hawaii. No a new door would not work. The height of the entrance is too low. i now park my golf cart in there, so all is good.

aloha and happy new year all.
