new tractor on the way..

Well .... i did it, i just orderd a 1540 power shuttle.r4s,remote hyd. canopy. loader .skid steer tool carrier.with forks....all i did was go to the dealer to get some filters last week ...i started looking around [ big mistake ].... i fell in love ....i am tradeing my 1440v in . its a good tractor...just missing alot of what i was used to ...i got the 1440v to replace a 1250...that had alot of hard hrs. on it....well back to the new tractor i think i got a fair deal...total price without the trade 24.400...does this sound about right ??? as soon as i get it i will post some pics. it wont be ready until after the first ... what a christmas !!! merry christmas bruce /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Well Hernando, you're making me feel really behind the eight ball. I've had my GC2300 for 2.5 years / 400 hours now. Every once in a while I drool over bigger more powerful / capable models, but so far I've restrained myself. Problem is, I've got an oil change coming up and I need filters...

thanks for all the replys ...i am getting it at A&G equipment ..in manchester tennessee...i wont take delivery until after the first ,,,,waiting on the remotes to come in ..and then they have to install them...as soon as they do ill be posting some pics,// like any proud papa...a & g are really good people to work with,,,,,,,if your in the area check them out......thanks Bruce /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It sounds like you got a fair deal, I really like that open platform on the 1500 series, lots of room and no gear shifts on the floor a big plus. But by far my favorite feature was the FEL Joystick location on my right hip, no long reach to operate it and arm getting weary. Oh did you get the Massey Rebate offered 12-15-05 to 12-30-05, $500. or was that my dealer trying to get me hooked... nice machine enjoy
