New tractor owner. Case international 1394

Hi bought this tractor from a auction with broken turbo it was running but oil all over the engine anyway we decided to remove the turbo altogether so bought non turbo manifold blanked oil feed and return on block re coupled the air intake pipes now tractor running fine little bit of smoke out exhaust but hey the tractor is 26 years old but there is a slight weep of oil coming out of manifold. Has anyone experienced this before?

You can't just take the turbo off and expect everything to be normal, the oil you see is likely un-burnt fuel.

there was a problem with that generation of case, there was too much oil pressure in the engine and it has to leak a small bit. mine leaks the speedo and all i do is keep it topped up. it is very important to keep it high with oil if it is a hydro-shift gear box.

Mine leaks oil as well. Also keep it topped up and haven't had an issue in the 5 years I have owned it.
