Due to the fact we recently bought a 6 acre small holding I decided we needed a tractor. It is all pasture...bar the house. Nothing too fancy and had to be basic (and cheap) and with mechanicals similar to old Series Land Rovers that I am used to ;)

We already had a 5ft PTO topper, 6ft roller and a fertilizer spreader as a job lot from the previous owners so it had to have enough oomph to drive those with a 3 point linkage at da back.

Well I narrowed it down to some vintage options and after looking at a few decided on a 1961 MF35 with a patina of age that had managed to avoid the wrath of the 'do it up for shows and road runs' brigade. But MF35's are not 'cheap' due to the aforementioned militia buying them up. So cheap went out of the window and sensible pricing came back in through the door.

Currently giving him a good overhaul but the Massey came with new tyres which is work a chunk.

So currently dumping all fluids. New coolant hoses. Air filter replaced (rust pinholed). Couple of TRE's. Shiney exhaust stack. Check the rockers.

Welcome from Howell, Michigan. That's a nice looking Massey. I have some neighbor's from Wales, I'll have to ask what town they are from.
