New Tractor Owner We're Country Folks Now

Hello Everyone,

Found this really neat forum today while researching shtuff for my tractor. As an engineer in the Foodservice industry, city living was our thing until time we retired to the country in Texas. Yep...bought me a used JD L120 tractor and learned to spit. lol

I bought the used tractor because I enjoy all thing mechanical and don't mind repairs maybe fix it up to be a solid yard mowing monster. Oh...my brand new engine was just delivered about 30-minutes ago right when my account was approved by Admin. Thanks !

On this forum - you ask the question - likely to get more answers than you can logically filter thru. Interesting - Foodservice industry engineer - I was Director of Environmental Health in Anchorage for 18 years. The food service industry was one of our major contacts.

Same here 3R. However - I know folks have though of me as rather crude and vulgar, at times. Late summer when the little lake finally gets warm enough - it's great for a swim. I had folks visit and find me down on the dock - in the buff. Hey - it's my property, it's my lake, it's remote. Besides - on my property, I'm the only one who should be concerned about how I do or don't dress. What we choose to do or not do on our own property, being remote, should only concern one person.

I don't go buff into town - I don't spit on the sidewalk and I don't kick dogs. And I respect my elders - if I could ever find anybody older than me.
