Same here 3R. However - I know folks have though of me as rather crude and vulgar, at times. Late summer when the little lake finally gets warm enough - it's great for a swim. I had folks visit and find me down on the dock - in the buff. Hey - it's my property, it's my lake, it's remote. Besides - on my property, I'm the only one who should be concerned about how I do or don't dress. What we choose to do or not do on our own property, being remote, should only concern one person.

I don't go buff into town - I don't spit on the sidewalk and I don't kick dogs. And I respect my elders - if I could ever find anybody older than me.

I grew up in the country and skinny dipping was part of the culture back then. At the end of a day hauling hay, we often parked on a bridge and everyone jumped in to cool off and get rid of all the accumulated grime. We often walked through our small town with our rifles to go from one hunting spot on the other or to walk home.

After college I had to become civilized and live in town, departmental requirement, from 1975 to 1994 when we built this house. We now have a whole house generator, but I've been known to shower in the rain when the power is out. I have a shooting range in my back yard and can't see our nearest neighbor.

I have been tainted by the civilized life too much to fully recover, but I'm better now. Of course I know far more country posers than real country folk, so who know what it really is anymore.:)

Good afternoon Scott and welcome to TBN and this forum. So you will be putting a fresh engine in the L120. On this forum - you ask the question - likely to get more answers than you can logically filter thru. Interesting - Foodservice industry engineer - I was Director of Environmental Health in Anchorage for 18 years. The food service industry was one of our major contacts.

You should update your profile and add your location. Many times it is helpful in providing meaningful answers. Enjoy the engine swap.

I worked for Planet HollyWood and several other big name "theme" restaurants. Extremely fun career designing the kitchen & bars along with our custom fab shop to build all the chef's counters & work tables etc...

Just now got the old engine out need to clean up the engine compartment and get the new beast in there. I'm thinking the new engine with more HP could trash the K46 tranny which is still going strong at over 500+ hours. Fould a really neat thread on these tranny's here and will indulge myself with the others knowledge and advice.

This morning, I have a really bad backache and can barely move. Almost excruciating pain. Must have bent over the wrong way getting that ole motor out. I did manage to get the elec clutch & drive pully off the shaft. Sprayed the exhaust bolts with penetrating oil to soak overnight.
