After several years of reading, I bought my first tractor. It痴 a 2006 Mahindra 2615 (gear) with loader and canopy. It has 225 hours and looks practically new. It came with an 18 ft dove tail trailer with fold up ramps. The trailer looks very good and was bought with new tires. Also, got a Rhino SE5 brush cutter, 5 ft Woods tiller, ATLAS 6 ft box blade, boom pole, post hole digger with 2 augers, middle buster, and quick disconnect three point hitch. The brush cutter, box blade, and middle buster were bought originally with tractor. The tiller and post hole digger are older and look a little rough but work well. The tractor belonged to a home builder who needed cash because of the economic situation. I think I got a fair deal at $14,500.00 for the whole setup. Did I get a fair deal? I had been looking at some real junk. I will use the tractor for some work on my 1.5 acre town lot and for up keep on family land that has been let go for years. Also, to keep up roads and food plots on a hunting lease. This site has been a great help. I will have lots of questions and hope to be able to add relevant information as I learn this tractoring thing. By the way, I got to play for a couple of hours upon delivery yesterday before rain set in. Pictures to come.

you did very good!
Look at it this way: figure $5-6k worth of trailer and implements, and you have less than $9k in the tractor and loader.

congrats and enjoy!

Sounds good, trailer would bring over 3500.00 easy around here. I think Mahindra sponsors the World of Outlaws sprint car series. plowking

As the others said, you got a good deal for all the items you listed.

Thanks. I have looked for a long time and even though it seems to be a buyers market good used tractors have been hard to find.

It could be that in your area people buy tractors for a need and the need has not gone away. I think that most people, not all,:) who buy tractors are pretty frugal. You might not be able to tell it from the price of the tractors, but these are long term purchases and not throw aways. Anyway congrats on your purchase and have many great hours of seat time.
