Well, more specifically, new to owning a tractor. The tractor is not new. I just got a Yanmar 2210D, for playing in the back field, and clearing under the power lines. Unfortunately, I don't have any attachments yet. I plan on getting, first a Bush hog-type mower, 4-5', then a post hole digger (the back fence desperately needs to be repaired), then a FEL, just for fun! Maybe a log splitter too. I am getting too old to swing a maul every year. However firewood is not all that necessary in Florida!
We have about 5 acres, half of which is lawn, that I mow with a Gravely 60" ZTR, but I want to clear the back half a little more. Right now, I basically have a nature trail, that I mow, but everything else is getting kind of scraggly back there.
In a couple of weeks of playing, I have already learned one thing: It is important to bleed the line after changing the fuel filter...oops. Lesson learned.
Just thought I would introduce myself, as I will probably be lurking quite a bit. I have much to learn.
