Price Check New tractor today.

So, much thanks to all here. First time poster, long time lurker.

I'm a new dad tonight, bought a Mahindra 1816 HST today.

Curious how I did. Tractor, 54" MMM, FEL, 14700$. Should I start crying in my beer, or give myself a little pat on the back? That was cash price, no financing.

All my research was on the internet, only have limited dealers near me, narrowed down my search to Kubota BX or B and the Mahindra. Went there first to kick the tires, and then went to look at the Kubotas. Don't want to make anyone with an orange ballcap mad, but I thought the Mahindra was more of a tractor. So back I went to get my new red ballcap.

I see you're in upstate NY, lived in Saratoga Springs myself for a few years, go through there almost every year while on vacation. Nice area.

Out of a morbid sense of curiosity, what's the price on a gallon of diesel up there now?

$4.25 last time I bought it a week ago but believe it went down a little. But when I say upstate i mean way upstate I am a about 2.5 hours north of Saratoga. Close to the tundra. LOL

I used to love to skiing at Gore Mountain, north east of Lake George.

Couple of years ago, went thru Lake Placid on vacation, and I climbed Mt. Marcy. Tough is the word that comes to mind.

As long as you are happy with what you paid and can afford it don't worry about the price. Prices are so different across the nation. Congratulations on the purchase. I am sure you will enjoy it. I have been happy with my Mahindra.
