New tractor. Wrong FEL?

Hello. First post. We just bought a new Kioti CK25 with the KL130 FEL and KB2375 BH. Have just started figuring out how to use the BH.

In reading various posts, I saw reference to cracking on the FEL on Kiotis. It appears that it occurs in one style loader. Attached is a picture of my new tractor. Can anyone tell by looking at the picture if I have the loader that might be prone to cracking, and where to keep an eye out for the cracks if I did get the wrong one?

Sam,

You've got the new FEL (the tube is visible on the outside of the arms). Yours won't need the modification.

Yep! that's the new design...I think they did a great job with it!! You shouldn't have any problems and enjoy the new toy.

That is so clean kind hate to see ya get all dirty.

First off, welcome to the pack.
Secondly, Is that you on the Tractor (Samantha?) or is that the better half?

Thanks for the replies. Good to hear I don't need to worry about the cracking FEL problem.

No, that's my better half, Kat. Actually sitting on HER tractor. She works closer to the dealer so when we decided to get it, she drove over and filled out the paperwork and loan application. So, it's in her name. She has teased me about asking permission to use HER tractor.

She better be careful, that can work two ways. "What do you mean, why did I get you a box scraper for your birthday? It's YOUR tractor...."

Looking forward to having the backhoe and more capacity. I have a Sears 24 HP tractor with a 2 cylinder Onan and hydraulic loader. Had it now for about 19 years. Been real useful, but have always wished for more capability, and of course it doesn't have the BH either.

Welcome to the forum and congratulation on your marring into a nice new tractor.

I can see your angle here, but I thought you only gave a box scrapers on anniversaries, silly me!

If you need a sturdy loader for your CK25 stop by Westendorf's website or give a call. Westendorf's TA-170 model is a great fit on that tractor. It comes standard in stone black, but it can be custom painted Kioti orange. I think you would enjoy the Power Mount™ feature that allows you to take the loader on and off in just minutes without the use of tools, and the Quick-Attach system that allows you to change attachments in seconds without the use of tools.

I agree, you've got the new and improved loader. It is new so we can't say it won't crack yet but we can say that you don't have the old and crappy loader that is prone to cracking. Always keep an eye on your equipment for loose bolts, cracks, leaks, and such things.

What do people do in a desert with a tractor?
