Tractor
Mahindra 2810 HST, Kioti DK35SE HST
My new DK35se HST with loader was delivered friday evening. Put 7 hours on it Saturday, seemed very comfortable and user friendly having nice hydralic responce on the loader and lugging power for digging. It was nice to operate for the short 7 hour time I run it yesterday. I did find that orange shows the mud really well and i was in my share of it too. I have 2 questions if anyone knows the answers i'de appreciate it.
1st: are the quick disconnects in the back American or are the Metric and does Tractor supply sell the male end to them?
2nd : Whaat lever operates the remote valve when you engage the lever into A or B ?
pictures will follow when i find my camera. Thanks . . .John

Good luck to you with your new toy. I got my CK20s the last of Feburary and have only put 6 hours on it since. Retired the next week and have worked my ***** off on everything else since. BUT...next week will be when the little one starts getting a weekly workout.

Once again congradulations on your new tractor.

The quick disconects are what I call a Pioneer quick disconect. I believe it is the ISO universal coupler these days. You can buy the male ends at Tractor Supply.

KIOTI uses the ISO-7241-A Poppet style quick connects. The fittings on the back of the tractor for the rear remotes are 1/2" 7241-A couplers. There are pioneer couplers at TSC that fit, but they are the ball style, not poppet. They fit, but mixing a ball type with the poppet type isn't a good idea. The poppet can slide on the ball causing the seal to leak in the coupler.

also a quick note. If you have a detent type rear remote (that meaning it locks into place when the handle is moved) you should add a loop of hose with disconnects when no equipment is attaches (see picture). This will protect your hydraulic pump from deadheading if the detent is accidently engaged and no impliment is attached. there have been some damaged hydraulic pumps caused by this...and the warranty wont cover this issue.

Im not sure what you mean by what lever operates the remote valve when you move it into a/b??

On my remote levers (i have 2) one says a/b the other c/d.
the one with the detent is the a/b valve. according to the manual a=up, b=down. but it depends on which way you set your hoses. it could be right/left (i use mine to control front snow blade).

I know i'm probably a slacker on pics but my job is running me hard. I'm delivering 2 trailor loads of building material a day and loading for the next days trip out. Covering almost 300 miles a day but loving every minute to my self in the truck.
Ive had my self about seven new tractors in my day so far and i think the new Kioti is the nicest yet to operate. I really love my Mahindra a lot and its a great tractor but. . .the Kioti really impresses me in hydralic responce and seems to feel like a commercial machine on the loader. just wish i had more time now to break in the seat. Doing some mowing now and its a lot of fun even though all it does is rain! . . .John

Welcome to the pack from a fellow upstater. While my CK30 is five years old this month it feels like a new beast with my new BH. Wish you the best of luck with yours.

I had the dealer build me a short bypass loop of hydro hose for my rear remotes when I settled up. Figured it is cheap insurance, he was a little surprised at my request at first but realized the simple logic in it.... Who'd you buy from if you don't mind me asking?
