My new work master idles a little over 1k rpms. Do you see any problem with lowering the idle down to about 700 or so? I wouldn't think it would do anything negative to turbo do you guys!

I tried adjusting the idle down from 1250 on my V417, with a 75hp turboed Kubota, but it was really rough.

It probably won't hurt anything to lower it if you can. However to let it idle for any period of time at low speed is not good. My JD operator manual says to avoid idling for more than 3-4 minutes below 1200 rpm, even though low idle is set around 850 rpm (5045D, turbo).
