Hi Johnny,

$30,500 isn't bad, but see if you can get them to throw in some extras like the set of filters I got. For example, getting a $50 hydraulic filter saves you $50 but costs them (significantly?) less. That gives them a chance to sweeten the deal without costing them as much as it will save you.

Getting the tires filled is great, but be careful what you put in them. Many common fillers are highly corrosive, poisonous, or both. My dealer offered to fill the tires with methanol at cost, $120, but I passed because I want something non-poisonous. There are many threads on TBN about filling tires...

Will do thatnks for the input. I did find a New Holland Cab T2320 45hp for sale locally with a backhoe attachment,7' bush hog, box blade and regular blade for $34,000 but that seemed alittle high to me I can get a backhoe for the U5030 for about 7K. So for 3k more I can have a new tractor and backhoe!

hcf pulled the trigger today on a U5030 got back tires filled, block heater and extra hyd filter, air filter, oil filter and fuel filter with bale spear for $31,200.:newhere:

When I talked to the West Coast distributor last February, they did not offer 3rd functions or top & tilt sets. Actually for me :cool2: :laughing:

The kits we use are put together by W R long in Tarboro NC , they go on in less than 2 hrs and fit well.

Thanks Hansen. We have the WR Long on our NHL TL100-A and it works great. Had seen a post on TBN that said some manufacturers we starting to offer 3rd function as options.
