Tractor
NH TN75, Case 885
I bought a 2001 TN75 New Holland tractor last May so it is almost a year that I've had it. It has always started just fine until a couple of months ago. It started turning over too slowly to fire up. I had the alternator and battery checked and they are fine. I found a mobile electrical mechanic that came out and said the starter was drawing too many amps (or maybe volts) and so he rebuilt the starter. It still turned over sluggishly and wouldn't start so I bought a heavier duty battery, 1000 cold cranking amps, at his suggestion. It starts now but still seems sluggish in turning over. The oil is 15-40 and the temperature has been in the 40's. Has anyone had any similar problems?

Welcome heyman. Perhaps try posting this in the owning and operating section and you will get more responses.

Good luck,

Not sure, does your TN75 have something like glow plugs..pre heat engine start up..which might be failing?

Heard of cases tractor owners don't allow enough time for glow plugs to warm and engine labors to start..if starts.
