New User and Mahindra Owner

I just found this Forum this morning and I'm "Signed Up". Let me join the crowd and say I think a Mahindra Forum would be great. I bought a 2810 with FEL last year and had zero problems with it. I have a Howse 5' rotary mower, Howse 5' box blade, 3pt fertilizer spreader, 6' First Choice finish mower, and a 10' chain harrow. I have R4 tires with no water or weights and have found this is the perfect combination and tractor size for my use. I highly recommend Mahindra tractors and the Dealer in Jemison has been great. If I could just keep my Wife away from it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey Jim in Alabama, welcome! Great to see another Mahindra user. I trust you already see how the board works, and have probably already read my post about getting a Mahindra sub catagorey. So, send another post and tell us about what you use your tractor for. Do you have a backhoe or have you looked into one? Again, great to have you and look forward to your words of wisdom.

I have updated my profile and no I don't have a backhoe on my 2810. I can tell you that I have more uses for the FEL than I ever imagined. I drilled a hole just back from the front lip of the loader blade and when I need to lift something, I attach a threaded forged eye bolt through the hole, grab some nylon slings, some clevisis and I'm good to go. With the FEL I now have more friends that I ever knew I had. My neighbor across the road wanted to correct a drainage problem behind his house, neighbor down the road wanted his driveway scraped with my box blade, and so it goes. Whenever the Wife is working in the flower beds around the house, she seem to always want something I can do with the tractor. All a man needs is good cookin' good wife, and some machinery to play with. Life is good. Thanks to all for the warm welcome to the Forum and I'll try to refrain from asking to many dumb questions. Jim, welcome to TBN and glad to hear theres another new Mahindra owner!! Your right about how many friends you acquire when you own a piece of equipment!! Every one in the county started calling me when I bought some used square bailing equipment last year!!! Chet

glad to hear from another mahindra owner, i also have a 2810, has been great to this date no problems. Great tractor, hope we get our mahindra forum soon.
- Have any of you seen the 2810 hydro yet, sharp looking tractor at least from the pics i have seen, waiting for my dealer to get 1 in to see on up close.

Great tractor. I have a 2810 with 36 hours on it since xmas and I think I'm ready for a bigger size. Any links or photos to the hydro Mahindra. Does anyone know if they offer a remote hydraulics kit?

I recently saw the new HST 2810 at my local dealer. Looks great. Several changes. Bigger tires (same as on the 3510) giving it more ground clearance. The ROPS are little different in their shape. Also the dash has some changes.

Congratulations! Welcome to TBN. My Mahindra dealer in Southern VT must have just gotten a major shipment...the lot is flooded with red. Didn't know Mahindra was making major changes to the line. I'll have to look at one up close to see if the new HSTs are part of the fleet.
