Tractor
Kioti CK20HST
After 4 years of doing everything by hand in my 3 acre vineyard I broke down and bought a CK20hst with FEL. While I'm getting the parts together to build my sprayer I went ahead and put about 8 hours on it bush hogging the neglected fields on the rest of my property. The picture is a hill top I am getting ready to plant next year. I wanted a small tractor that could get up in down the vineyard rows and still have enough weight and power to handle a 55 gallon pto sprayer and bush hog. So far everything is working great.

Congratulations! That is a nice view atop that hill. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Is that a 60" rotary cutter? How did the CK20 handle that thick stuff?

Thanks

The rotary cutter is a 52" midwest brand. It seems well built. It works well with this tractor. I took down some fairly large saplings 2" diameter without any trouble. When I got into some honey suckle I had to slow down some or it would begin to bog down. Next I need to practice with a post hole digger.

That was my first attachment. Piece of cake to use. Run about 1,500 RPM's and turn down your 3pth "raise" speed to slow at first. Once you get the feel of it, you can adjust accordingly. G

Hey congrats mowine! I sure like the looks of that tractor and the cutter looks to be Kioti Gray. Of course, I should like the looks of yours since I have the same kind. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Amazing little machine isn't it? People are always surprised at how much it can do.
That sure is a beautiful setting for that CK. Enjoy and give us more action pics, okay? Thanks, John

Thanks GerardC

I was having some problems with the digger getting away from me. I used your suggestion and with a little practice I think I got it. I have a 12" auger. I am using mainly to drilll holes to plant grape vines. I have about 3 hundred to plant next year. Plus the trellis posts.. Should be a pro after that.

I got the pto sprayer working this morning. Too windy to do any real spraying today, but calibrated the nozels with water and am ready to go. I will attach a couple more pics.
