New Woods backhoe finally came in last week. I have run it quite a bit and it seems to work great. The newbee operator needs a lot of practice though.

Closeup of 4 point connection. Lower outriggers and bucket, remove bolt on each side with wrench that rides on side of frame, lower unit with outriggers, disconect hoses, and go.

Side view of belly frame connection to loader/ tractor frame.
Seems to be tucked up higher than the Kioti hoe. Only loose
about 3-4".

This frame stays on the tractor all the time though.

The 4 pt disconnect is very quick....but

Woods says that all the tractor 3 pt arms have to be removed-
unbolted, unpinned. And then reinstalled after removing the hoe. Not good.

On my last install I left all the 3 pt on and raised the arms up but they hit the hoe frame. still better but loose that much more clearance. I'm going to move the locking bolt thing on the tractor lever to the "raise" side so it can't be moved by accident.

Which model number is that? I really like the hookup, as you said, you lose less inches over the regular subframe type, even though that is a subframe.
Since that one isn't the newer curved model like the Groundbreaker 6000, I was just wondering which model it is.
Woods makes pretty good stuff from what I've seen. I only have one of their tillers thus far.

450.. Do you find the woods BH tuck in closer to the rear of the tractor, if so this would also be a great advantage to have, along with the better ground clearance... Thanks for the pics...cag

It looks good and the extra ground clearance is nice. Thanks for the pictures and comments. This lets others see what options they have with other brands of attachments.
Have fun digging. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

John, my paperwork just says model BH 7500. I think that is the same as the 3 pt hoe. It does say groundbreaker on it though. Dealer had no brochures for it and last I looked there was nothing on Woods site about it. I think it's new new.
Dealer was real impressed with it also.

CAG, sorry it took so long for the pics, I ran into a few snags.
I'm not sure if the back end tucks in better. That is an important area that I found out about after I got it. It will drag going through ditches or streams. I could measure it if someone wants to compare.

Hopefully this will help someone out, I'd love to give something back to this site. I learned a ton from you guys when I was shopping and still now while training to be an Ace operator.

I had heard that all of the new Woods backhoes were going to be curved boom, so I was surprised to see yours isn't. Maybe that's still in the future. The GB6000 is a curved boom loader.
Cag, as for tucked back more, yes, it is a little tucked back as compared to the Kioti backhoe but still has a substantial bit of backhang. The biggest advantages are the sturdier mount, and less clearance loss, although, as 450EXC stated, it will still hit bottom in some circumstances, but pretty much all of them will.
