New Woods 4 pt hoe does not fit

My new Woods 4 point backhoe finally came in fresh off the assembly line but, uh oh, it does not fit. It looks like Kioti made a mid-production change to the rear axle and the Woods mounting brackets don't line up. So far my dealer and Woods say they will get me going fast and make me happy in the end. Woods R&D already have another CK30 and are building new mounts as we speak.
We'll see how good these guys really are.
I am wondering if I should have just gotten the Kioti hoe that was on the lot 6 weeks ago.

Woods WILL take care of it post haste. They're quick as greased lightening and you'll be surprised how quickly they get you taken care of.

I think you'll like the mounting of the Woods better, and you'll have less clearance loss. Heck, I waited 3 months to get my backordered backhoe back in the beginning of 2004. GerardC waited a while too, as did others. You'll just have to wait like the rest of us! LOL /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have seen the 4-pt mounts from Woods, for their 7500 hoe. They want $1000 for it. KiotiJohn: any more details on how it campares to the subframe from Kioti?

The only thing I can really say is that I like both pretty well, but the Woods provides a more sturdy mount, and keeps the subframe section higher than does the Kioti, reducing the clearance loss overall. However, back at the hoe itself there is still some clearance loss where the swing section is. This is not really a problem to me with either. The Kioti subframe has never caused me a clearance problem except in a case where I had dug up so many stumps that some of the time I was hitting the ground when moving around among those holes and mounds of dirt. Still was not a huge problem and probably would have happened with any CUT hoe. Most of the time, I'm in the same area, digging, not trying to traverse a lot of areas where clearance would be important.
I suppose one has to see the two hoes/mounts and compare for oneself to decide, but both of them work well.
The Woods 6000 groundbreaker doesn't really LOOK as though it's as heavily made as the Kioti, but I think the curved styling is probably very sturdy.
I'd choose either of them without a problem.
