I've had my 2016 XR4145 for about 18 months, including one winter. After just a little bit of night time snow plowing & a little bit of summer field work at dusk, I quickly decided that the stock halogen work lights at the top of my cab were worthless. This past weekend, I replaced them with Nilight 6.5" LED floods (https://amzn.to/4qbnvWo). They use just 36W, so they're the same power draw as the factory originals and required no wiring upgrades. I soldered on these H8/H11 male plugs (https://amzn.to/48Vq2gu) so they're plug & play with the factory harness. Less than $50 total.

The difference is unbelievable! Not only are they INCREDIBLY bright, but because they have a lower lip under the lens, they don't shine light downward onto my windows. The factory halogens would light up all the dust outside my windows & make it very hard to see through them. The only problem I have now is that because the hood & FEL are lit up so brightly, I see reflections when I look through the side windows. Oh well. I took a few photos with only one side installed so you could see the difference.

For slow work like snow plowing or mowing, these are all the light I'll need. However, because they're floods, they don't throw light all that far straight in front of me. If I was cruising down the county road, I might want some high power grille lights to replace the factory ones up there. Any recommendations that fit the factory housings?

I installed slightly larger NiLites 10 years ago. I think they're 9" and 55 watts. Definitely a huge upgrade from OEM.
Anyway, they also make combination flood / spot lights in one housing (mine are) that illuminate plenty far out for tractor use.

My XR4155 lights are ok but definitely nothing to brag about, other than plowing snow I don’t use the tractor much after dark.
I’m impressed with your wiring knowledge and being able to find the correct replacement plugs for your lights.

I think the first thing I chanced on mine was removing the OE Kubota spotlights and replace them with LED work lights.

Somehow having spotlights on tractor didn't make sense to me since I never drive it at over 70 mph.

It took me all of a week to figure out just how worthless the halogen OEM work lights were on my new L6060HSTC. Replaced all 4 with Tiger light plug & play LEDs. The difference is amazing.

No problem plowing & mowing at night, or driving on road at 20 MPH.
