New XR4145 arriving Sat!

I dumped my Mahindra 3616 for this new LS XR4145 Hydro ROPS. Hope it holds up well. Glad to see there is a forum for the LS line. The only mods I plan on making right away are:

1: Cup holders
2: The dealer said there is not a factory 3rd spool option yet. I do not want the second rear spool to have a detent and self-center instead for my top-n-tilt setup. Do you think I can just take off the tail piece of the spool with the detent and replace it with a non-detent tailpiece?

I am also leery of not having a clutch to engage the PTO like I had on the HST Mahindra so I hope it holds up! Probably will be ok for the slip clutch on the brush hog but I can no longer feather my post hole digger engagement.

Welcome to TBN and congrats on the new tractor. Post pics when it arrives.
I have no clutch either. The electric PTO engages my flail mower smoothly at slow RPM then I bring up the RPM. I haven't used my PHD yet but I too am curious how that will work without a clutch to feather.
Sorry, can't advise you on the spool but there are many members more experienced in hydraulics.

Congratulations on the new tractor, a friend of mine just bought a xr4145 cab shuttle and says he likes it so far. He too was wanting a factory thrird remote and spoke with someone at the LS office in Arkansas , I think it was. Anyway as of right now still no option, as for the detent , yes you should be able to remove the detent function, but you may try it first, it will only lock if you push or pull the handle all the way, it will still spring back to off if you only feather the valve and on a top link that's about all I ever do to adjust mine.

Keep the pressure on your dealer for 3rd remote. I have an XR4046HC and have been pushing for 3rd remote. LS has design for mine but still not come up with the parts.

I also would not delete the detent, it is really handy for my 3 point log splitter.

I have the Fit-Rite top n tilt and detent has never been a problem.

So this thing had horrible bucket flop after dump. Must be a poorly designed loader valve. I was able to remove the flop with a flow valve in the return line of the bucket dump cylinder. See photo and thread here:
