New yanmar owner

Well over the weekend I bought a yanmar 2420D from Hoye tractor in Texas. I have not got the chance to play with my new toy very much. The tractor has a loader and a tiller. I am happy with Hoye. Stan was very honest and knowledgeable. If anyone can give me any pointer on how to keep my tractor up in good shape and/or maintance tipe that would be great. I would post a picture but I am not sure how.

Looks real nice. Interesting ram setup on that loader, what brand is it?

The loader was built in Japan. I am not sure what the name brand is. It is a self leveling loader. It stick out a little to far in the front. But as always the price was right.

One thing you could do is scan back through the old threads here. There is a ton of informtion there. You also could buy the manuals for a similar Yanmar tractor built for the US market(easier to read the english). There is an operations mamual, a parts manual, and a service manual. Sometimes you can find manuals on E-bay but beware sometimes they sell for more on E-bay than you can get them from the Yanmar dealers. It might be that a dealer can get you the japanese parts manual for your 2420D.

We were going to send you a manual set with that tractor but our '20 series Yanmar translated owner's manuals were not in yet. We have them in now, and will be sending it to you along with our tractor guide and parts manual. Those should help you out with most of the info you need. If there is something that you can't find in those manuals, I'm sure you can find the answer here.
