I've been lurking on this site for just about a month now and am totally impressed with the quality and quantity of knowledge here.

It was due to this TBN that I first learned about the HF QA unit, which I went out the next day to the local HF store to see if they had any in stock. To my surprise, they had 7 in stock.

I had no issues with mounting it and using it. (will replace the bolts with pins though)

Now my question. I was looking at the Landpride QA unit and they recommend using a "thicking bushing" to make a tighter fit on the lower hooks. Thes "bushings" slide over the cat 1 pins and make then larger to 1.44 inches.

Would these be required for safer operation ore are the even really needed?

Thanks in advance:)

In my opinion the bushings are needed to keep the implement from bouncing all over the place. The hooks on the bottom of the QH are CAT 2 size.
If you have a TSC nearby, they sell CAT 1 to CAT 2 bushings at a very reasonable price.

Oh, and WELCOME TO TBN!:D

Makes sense. I've seen a lot of posts about people having the HF Hitch, albeit, having hook-up issues. Has anyone had to use the bushings on their Cat 1 implements ?

I still haven't looked at a quick attache system for 3 point. I like the punishment I guess. Works good, huh?
