Just ordered a L 2501
Hey, all. Happy to be here. With a little bit of luck, I won't tip the tractor over getting up the hill in the trees. :D When it gets delivered, that is.

Welcome. I've got a 1734e. Good workhorse, read the info on the Regen cycles carefully. Mine has been problematic as of late. Still under warranty.

What did you get as far as attachments?

I'm familiar with central Pa and Rausch Creek Off Road Park and Anthracite Off Road.... if your in the massive rocky mountains like what we play in.... your going to die on that tractor LOL!

Yup. Think this is a mistake (the purchase, that is)?

No one gets out of here alive! I'm up by the confluence of the Lackawaxen and Delaware rivers - black bear, bald eagle and bobcat country. Plenty of coyote, too. The hills coming up from the Delaware are pretty rugged. Nothing like that in the yard, though. Just not too many flat spots . . .

Attachments - just the loader for now. I'm planning on getting a rear blade at Tractor Supply for $350 or so to help with grading and dressing the 250' gravel drive and 50' parking area, and plowing snow. With the installed block heater and delivery, that about does it for my budget. In December, I ought to get a spreader for sand or salt. We get freezing rain here from time to time, and it turns the drive and parking area (and the dirt development road) into an ice rink.
