Newbie in Missouri

Never owned a tractor, but pretty convinced it's what I need. We have 6.5 acres with nearly 3 to mow. The rest I'd like to clear (eventually), need to till a garden & push some snow couple of times/year. Looking at the subcompact tractors, MH, JD, Kub. Don't like the pedal on Cub Cadet; New Holland dealer has none in stock. The JD dealer is not offering the incentives, so the MH & Kubota are at top of my list. My next step is to take them for a test drive. With my budget, figured I'd just get a mid mower & buy other implements in future including used ones. Is it possible to buy a FEL for one of these 5 yr from now?

Wouldn't dare to say yes or no w/all the new models popping up lately,but there good chance second hand or different brand to be found.

You may find its cheaper now to purchase FEL than later..higher price,shop time to install,pickup and delivery charges.

Welcome to TBN from a fellow Missourian. No more snow than you will get a rear blade will work good. I second the notion of getting the FEL sooner rather than later.

I've been around tractors for most of my 50+ years. But, my JD 2305 bought in 2008 was the 1st one that had a loader ! I do not know how my Dad and I survived all those years with no FEL for our old Farmalls! Get the FEL now and you'll also wonder some day, "How did I ever get along without this?"

Get the fel sooner. My Mahindra 3215 Gear came with a fel and I love it. Bobcat is running a special for a free fel with their compacts in my area right now.

Thanks to everyone. I was curious about the Bobcat, but closest dealer is 120mi away. The FEL will boil down to budget. We'll see. Guess my kid doesn't really need to go to college
