newbie info on cub 3200

WOW! THat will be some machine when you get it! I just picked up my first cub cadet the day before yesterday (mine is a 10 year old 2140 though) and I never knew what a machine they were. I just may start mowing lawns for gas money jsut to use it. I know you will love yours too! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

here it is, i really like it. it rides great, HEAVY, has awesome power and all the bells and whistles. once again, i am a victim of price creep. oh well, i love overkill.

here is another angle. forgive the mess in the garage. my excuse for stepping up to this model was the diff lock, i thought that would get me up and down the big hill across the front of my property. but after trying it out, it will go up and down without using the diff lock. i think it is the huge back tires plus the weight of the machine. i never really thought power steering was that big a deal, but after using it, that may be my favorite feature.

I have a few questions for you on the 3200 series...do I see reflectors or working taillights in the rear fender? I also see two hydrolic levers on your fenders - did it come that way or do you have the quick hitch in the front? Did it come with the hydrolic couplers quick connects under the left side floor board?

those are just reflectors on the rear. it did come with two hyd levers, one for the deck and one aux.. it has the quick connect couplings under the front left floorboard. that is how all the 3200's are, it wasnt a special order.

Like with Duc, I feel left out with my 3204 as well.

You WILL like the large deck especially if you have any heavy grass to mow in the spring. It will cut where the small series deck will choke.

Awesome looking machine! You have to love that extra space behind the wheel as compared to the 2K series. Keep an eye on the 'taillights' and other labels as they will need some 'reseating' for a few weeks, then they stay stuck just fine. As you've probably read, be sure to check the headlight wiring. You may need to just bundle & tie the wiring back a bit to keep it from scortching near the exhaust. You don't have an electromagnetic PTO clutch so no wiring worries there!
