The transmission range shift lever (A) provides three speed ranges and is used in conjunction with the forward travel pedal (C) and reverse travel pedal (D).
As jgayman says and the operator's manual also says..
With using travel pedal in conjunction with the range shift lever, the three ranges and neutral can be found rather easily. Not when "parked" .
It will be a "learned" feeling with operating time on the tractor.![]()
Don't force the range shift lever or you may be asking the question others have already asked.. "how to repair the broken shift lever ?".
If this is a hydrostatic transmission sometimes you need to press on the FWD or REV pedal slightly to take the pressure off the gears. This is because they are straight cut gears and any tension on them can make it hard to change ranges.
