TC30
I have had a friend's TC30 sitting here for years. He took the front loader off to make it easier for me to get around in the trees with the mower and has subsequently moved out of state, leaving the tractor here. I want to attach the front loader to do some other work and I remember him telling me it was really easy, but just looking at it, I am clueless. I have googled and can't find anywhere that I can get a manual. Can anyone either point me to where I can find instructions on how to reattach the front loader, or give me instructions on how to do it?

Where are you located? Somebody'll probably volunteer to give you a hand.

Basically, you drive into position, hook up the hydraulic hoses and manuever the loader arms onto the machine. It's easy after you've done it a few times, not so if the thing's sitting crooked..

I'm in Manvel, TX, about 20 miles south of Houston. It's so frustrating because I remember it was dead easy for him to take it off and I'm sure if I could look at a manual or something it would be dead easy to put back on.

It is easy, as long as it didn't sink into the ground crooked or something. There's pins that have to be installed after you get it in place.
You drive as close as you can get it, hook up the hyd. lines, then the loader control lets you move the loader. Sometimes, usually, the lines have pressure built up so you might have to tap the connectors to release some fluid. The tractor should be shut off for the hose connecting. Also, after it's off you need to cycle the loader control around to get rid of the pressure on the tractor's lines.

YAY!!! Done it - thanks!

Basically I drove the tractor into it. Pushed against it and connected up the hoses. Now the hassle - the hoses have perished so now I am off to tractor supply. How do I replace the hose without letting all the fluid drain out?

Answer: one doesn't. The best method is to catch the oil. Place the free end into a can or bucket on the ground. Unscrew the other end. When you open the fitting, the oil in the hose will flow into the can. Have a plug or rag handy. When you've replaced the hose, take the can / bucket of drained oil and DISPOSE it. DO NOT put it back into your hydraulic system. A little bit of dirt will not be good for the system. Better to add new hydraulic fluid to make up the losses.

I wish I could find someone to leave a tractor at my place. And then he moves out of town. Lucky you.
