Could I damage my hydraulic system by having the fluid a little over the recommended levels???:rolleyes:

No.

Fluid at normal levels will expand when hot.

If the heat expansion pushes the fluid out the filler cap, it will just make a mess, but probably no damage.

Make sure your cap has a weep hole or vent.
