Hello all,
I have been reading your forum for a couple of months now and have gotten great information. I decided to join and get involved in some of the conversations.

However it is sad to say I致e ran into a problem that has me perplexed. I consider myself a jack of all trades so when I ask this question please do not laugh to hard.

I am trying to take off the front wheels of my Branson 2810.
After removing all the bolts one would think with a little wiggling the wheel would pop off.
No such luck. I have tried wedging it off and losing the rim by tapping it with a sledge hammer.
Nothing seems to even budge it.
Am I missing something ?

I trust you have the front axle elevated and positioned on blocks so there is no weight on the wheels.

Better to post your inquiry in the BRANSON forum.

Yes. I have it soaking with Aerokroil. Hopefully it will free it..

:welcome:

Welcome to the forum!

:tractor: I'm going to move this thread over to our Branson section in case those wheels are still stuck.

On jackstands, fill the tires with air to manufacturers specs for haulage and smack the rubber with a 9 pound sledge really good (from the inside). The paint probably has it held on there. Fresh paint can really hold things together.

Thanks jimmy and the rest of you all.
I eventually had to lower so that the tires were on the ground ( not all the weight but most of it), then I turned the steering wheel left than right and it popped right off.

Jimmy I think you were right about the paint. I don稚 think the rust helped either.

Thanks again
Mike

 that will do it, I've had some that I'd leave the lugs loose and drive in circles to break loose. Glad you got them.

Thanks Lou. I知 sure that would have done it also.
