A quick intro. I bought a new TC30 last week for $14.9K with FEL. I also got a Woods 65" box scraper. I spent much of the weekend working dirt to see what it could do. I'm pretty happy with the power.

I got my first accident out of the way on my 2nd hour; a tree root shot up through the floor board. It bent the floor board all up and broke all the brackets. Amazingly, it threaded the needle right between the hydraulics lines, brake and throttle.

Holy smokes Tim. I'd be crushed if I bent up my new tractor in the first two hours. I'd probably be down to the dealer pricing parts for the repair job within the hour. But you're right it could have been worse if it had hit the lines that run underneath. Must have been some tough root to break the steal.

Good luck.

Welcome to TBN and the Blue Forum :D! Mother Nature sure has a way of getting back at human/machine attempts at modifying the environment. Sorry to hear about your root-tractor "interaction". It could have been worse. We all have had "learning curve" experiences   :(. Keep the posts coming- Jay
