Greetings everyone. I've been lurking on the site for a while, and decided that it's time to become a member. Here's the vitals:
Tractor: Yanmar Lx410. New...currently 11.6 hours
Land : Approx 70 acres in various use categories
Intended use for the tractor: Shredding fields, planting food plots for deer population, road maintenance, fence building, getting away from the wife.
So far, so good on the tractor. No issues to report, except the transmission/hyd fluid is low. No sign of leaks..I think it was delivered a bit low. I'm looking for a suitable substitute for TF-500, and will probably go with Shell Donax. The mechanic where I bought it said that they use a JD-303 compatible product.
Thanks to the posters on the forum for info on Yanmars. As I acquire more time on the tractor, I'll let folks know how it's going.
