Well, I've spent many hours reading posts in the forum, comparing statistics in Tractor data.com, and searching Craigslist and Facebook for information about tractors. I've learned a lot, and have found that this forum is invaluable.

I've found a tractor that fits my needs very well. It's a B2410, a 2005 model with just under 750 hours. It's 4X4, HST, power steering, and the factory FEL. Also a Land Pride finish mower. Seems to be well maintained and has been kept under a shelter. So, it looks new. Asking price is $9,950.

Owner just left for a week of vacation, so I can't see it until the week of 7/15.

I'd be interested in any comments or recommendations you may have about the tractor or the price.

I own a Kubota L3400. Good tractor and available parts. I have had 2 6ft Landpride finish mowers. One was side discharge the other was a rear discharge. Rear discharge is much better. Best mowers I've seen. Sold both and bought a 0 turn mowers. Takes 2 to 3 hours less to mow my 4 acre shaded lawn. On the other hand my 0 turn won't lift crap, but my L3400 lifts the 0 turn off the ground for blade sharpening.

OK, I can close this thread. Yesterday I took possession of a 2005 Kubota B2410 tractor. It has 737 hours on the meter, a LA352 FEL, 4R tires, and a Land Pride 5' 3PT finish mower. All services had just been completed. Looks practically new. Paid $9,700, which seemed to be a fairly good deal.

I did my pricing by searching the net for the model I wanted, and then comparing the various machines and accessories. Others may have a better way...
