I confess to knowing nothing about tractors. I have researched on line and know what gray mrket tractors are. I know Kubota disavows gray markets. I have found a Kubota B1400 compact tractor that appears to be in very good condition with front loader, 4 foot rotary mower, and box blade. Can anyone give me any information on the "legal" equivalent of this tractor? I have five acres to mow. I have been mowing with a Cub Cadet garden tractor and I know it will not last much longer if I keep abusing it in the Florida heat. I should be able to purchase it for about $4800. It shows 120 hours on the meter. All metal is in very good condition, has roll bar, light, four wheel drive.
I do have a contact for parts.

Thanks for any information you can give me.

Ok, let me try again, does anyone have any experience with this model tractor?

Does this sound like a reasonable price? Knowing that the owners manual is printed in Japanese, does anyone have knowledge of a similar tractor with an English manual?

Any advice is welcome.

Getting parts and additional implements for gray market tractors could prove to be troublesome. The initial purchase price is enticing, however you could get burned later. Just going on feedback I've received from frustrated customers.

Thanks for the response. Being hard headed and stubborn I will probably take the chance.

I just bought a used Kubota BX1500 last Nov.
Paid $4525.
Mower 725
new tiller 1100
New front blade 1500.
Cost a little more but at least I can read the owners manual and get parts for it.
