I am getting ready to bush hog a portion of some power lines on a hunting lease we just got.

As other have said make 2 passes...but here is added tip.

Wait 1-2 days after the first pass so the grass you cut off dries out. Lot easier on your equipment because it is lighter and won't bog out the machine as much as wet heavy large clumps.
