My neigbor has a NH1215 for sale, it has a fel and backhoe on it. both are new holland. I have a BX2200 and was thinking of trading it in for a BX 23. but i was wondering how this machine compares. it has 300 hrs on it and looks really good. is $8500. too much for this machine. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

With a backhoe and loader on it I would say no jump on it quick and dont let it get away.

Hi,
I just traded my Ford 1210 in and itwas equiped with a 768 QA FEL. My dealer gave me $5800.00 for it. It was a gear drive, 4x4 and had approx. 1600 hrs. The 1215 is a newer machine and is about identical to the 1210 (16 gross HP and about 13 PTO HP) I never had any problems with the tractor. It was a fine machine /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I guess the question is what kind of backhoe is on the 1215 (3-PT or QA frame?) Hrs sound low so I would expect it to be in good shape if he took care of it. Also depends if it is Hydro or not. I think $8500.00 sounds like a fair price but not neccesarely a steal.
Depends on how many HP you would want but I'm always partial to the blue ones /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Don't know if I've been helpful or not but either way I think you will enjoy whatever machine you decide on.

The tractor is geardrive and has manual steering. I havent gotten to look at it real close, because i just had surgery, but i called and talked to the owner, and asked if the backhoe was a threepoint hookup or subframe, and he said it wasnt a three point hook up. i hope he doesnt sale it till i get able to try it out. It looks almost new settin next to the rode . i would just be using it for general landscaping and cleaning out a branch the runs through my property. he also said it steered rather easily, and he might come down some on it. Does anyone know how much the FEL will lift ?

Should be a 7106 loader if its NH. Not sure of lifting ability but probably about 500 to 600#
By the sounds of it, the size would work for you. Infact since its a smaller tractor you would be able to get into tighter spots. Manual steering is a little of a drawback but I'm only saying that since I now have power steering. Since it has a FEL you can always put down pressure on the bucket to lift the wheels and turn easily if you get into a tight spot. Always worked for me. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
