nh 1920 tlb $16500?

I'm a new member. This is an awesome site. Been checking it out for a couple of weeks. Looking at a 1999 new holland 1920 with 545 hours with nh fel and kelley backhoe. Asking price $16500. Machine is very clean. Any thoughts?

Dan, I can only tell you that a dealer in MA offered me $14000 trade in on my 2000 NH 1920 w/7308 loader and 758C backhoe. The machine has 470 hours. I paid $17000 in Jan 2002 from a private party. It was 15 months old and had 72 hours on it. It sold new for $27,500 plus sales tax. Bill C

Probably not a bad price for a low hours machine in good shape. The 1920 is an excellelnt machine. Is it from a dealer or private party? I have run a 2120 since 1987 and it has served me well. I'm assuming the backhoe is subframe mounted. On a 1920 I would be concerned if it wasn't.

Thanks guys. I bought it yesterday. It is a 2000 not a 1999. Also it is very clean. It does have the three point backhoe with a couple extra stabilizers, but has been used mostly for mulch and planting trees. The backhoe has only been on it for a short time. He had all the receipts to show everything. The tractor went for $21000 with the loader and he bought the backhoe for $6500 later. I'm going to take the backhoe off until I get a subframe mount for it. Any help on where to get that would be helpful. The tractor has the SSS transmission. No smoke (just a puff at startup, and its cold here), No leaks. Runs real smooth. I will post some pictures soon as I get a chance.
