nh 1925 hp?

Does anyone have info on the horse power rating
on new holland/ford 1925 model? looking at an add and is
listed as 39hp, I thought it was less. was this tractor model
just made 2 years? the only discussion Ive seen on
this tractor was a battery problem. any other problems
or is this a pretty good tractor?

I just bought a 1725, which has 29 HP. The 1925 is the same other than the engine. These were built about the time the Ford name was dropped so they were renamed TCxx after that. They are by no means obsolete and are essentially the same as the TC's that followed. It is a great line of tractors.

Bought mine in the spring of 98...only about 110 hours. Only problems have been the battery thing, but am now using an Optima. And, the drain valve problem that was highlighted on this board a few weeks back, and fixed with a $17 part and a $50 set of crow feet wrenches. I'd buy another...very pleased with it.

Wow, TC18 with supersteer! What happen to my TC24! Not sure about the styling. I though my TC24 turned really well, can't imagine it with supersteer. Best part is some work being done in the USA!
