I have been looking over 2 of the mowers I bought. 1 needs a new cam shaft pin and the other would not hurt to change if I can. In the parts break down I looked at with a dealer seemed like the cam shaft and pin were two different part numbers. One like 490. And the other "pin" was 70 something, so I would like to change out the pin on both or do the entire cam and pin on just 1. Has any body ever done this and if so how do you change out just the pin? Just to make clear the cam is what the pivot joints connect to from the belt pully which drives the other pivots to drive the sickle. Hope someone has done this, hate to soon be the only one.
