Fired up the baler today and snap, the lower conveyer driven shaft snapped in the middle immediately next to the center idler bearing. (Newholland 847, old faithful...'till now)
The shaft is about 2" hexagonal.
Having only removed one half of the six sided shaft at this point, is this a two piece shaft with some kind of coupler between the two or am I looking for a good welder when I get it all taken out?
Is this common?
