I have noticed my belt has some cuts in it and am wanting to have a spare on hand. Anyone know if this one for sale on Amazon will work on my side discharge 60" 914A.

Amazon.com: Gates B158 Hi-Power II Belt, B Section, B158 Size, 21/32" Width, 13/32" Height, 161." Belt Outside Circumference: Automotive

Gates B158 Hi-Power II Belt, B Section, B158 Size, 21/32" Width, 13/32" Height, 161.0" Belt Outside Circumference $28.78

Also while I am changine the belt it would probably be a good time to change the gear box oil. Does this use the same hydraulic fluid that is used in the front wheel hubs? I did not see much in the manual regarding oil change so I am pretty clueless as to how its done.

I have the rear discharge, but I believe everything is pretty much the same. I don't know the belt dimensions other than length, but I thought it was something like 158.3." If that is real length, I would think you will have trouble getting the spring tension tight enough before you run out of threads on the tensioning bolt. Might be able to find a shorter spring, but by the time you go through all of the that you can get the right belt from the dealer for about $42. I do not believe the hydraulic fluid is thick enough for the gear box. That gets some pretty wicked temps on it. I run 80/90 - 140 gear oil on mine. I change mine every couple years.

Still having trouble locating the correct belt and my finally snapped last night. I measured it to be between 158-159" in length and 9/16" width. I contacted dealer and part # is AUB161355
