Oil & Fuel NH hyd. oil vs. IH Hy-Tran

I recently purchased a new TC34DA. I always run the Mfgs. tranny/hyd. oil in all the different tractors I have. The IH Case equivelent of the model I have would recomend Hy-Tran Ultra and since the 2 tractors are the same it would make sense to me that Hy-Tran would suffice in my NH. I have about 30 gal. of Hy-tran in the shop that I intend to use in my TC34DA. I know what the dealer would tell me if I asked him if it would be ok to use the Hy-Tran. What do some of you knowledgeable people think? Thanks for answering.

Since the Case/Farmall compacts are identical to the NHs internally, I'd use that Hytran in a heatbeat and never look back.

I would use the Hy-Tran also.

I previously owned a Kubota 3710 GST, I asked the dealer if I could use my JD Hy Guard for transmission oil. He said no problem. I did and had no issues. I use the same Hy Guard in my JD 3720 HST and JD 5300 gear drive.

To add to this.. I use generic UTF instead of the 134 oil CNH sells. ( I use so much it's not financially easy to get the CNH oil! )

Since the merger of the two companies NH does offer the two oils, their original blend and the Case-IH ultra hytran. The Case oil is a bit thinner and absorbs a greater amount of moisture then the original NH oil which is good for us here in the north with the changing temperatures.

Do you mean that NH200A is the same product as HyTran Ultra? Just wondering. I hope you guys get better pricing on the CIH version than we do in the NH package.
